Proc 24th Nat Plant Eng and Maintenance Conf Chicago Illinois 1973 Mar; :4 pages
This case study describes a noise problem in an engine test facility at the Bureau of Mines Bartlesville Energy Research Center, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and the techniques used for noise abatement. A marked reduction in noise levels was achieved at very low cost, and the result was greatly improved working conditions for employees, which produced higher morale, less fatigue, and better research data.
