Bureau of Mines Research on Vibrations from Underground Blasting.
Ch 102 in Proc 1974 :1561-1577
The Bureau of Mines investigated the effects of vibrations from underground blasting in four rock types to define blast parameters that affect vibration amplitudes and to establish means of predicting expected vibration levels. A summary of the work is presented, and the results of further analysis of the data are discussed.
