Abstract
The two lattice parameters of hafnium with 2.1 Weight percent zirconium were determined from measurements on 2 single-crystal specimens at temperatures from 23 deg. to 1,600 deg. C. These data are believed to be the most accurate thus far obtained for material of this composition, and, since hafnium of higher purity (with respect to zirconium) is difficult to obtain, they may be the best approximation to the thermal-expansion data for pure hafnium.
