Abstract
The injection of conservation helium into the Bush Dome Reservoir near Amarillo, Texas, began in January 1963. It is important that this purchased raw helium not mix with native gas unnecessarily and that the helium that accumulates in the formation be maintained in a position favorable for its efficient recovery. A program has been developed and used to compute the movement of injected gas under the influence of factors that are significant for 8 years of actual operations and 17 years of planned future operations.
