This report details the present conditions of vein-type multilevel mine ventilation technology, with respect to practices, equipment, planning, and needs. Included are conditions and recommendations to guide future programs of research in order to ultimately upgrade operational technology. The main long-term objective was to improve the utilization of air in these particular metal-mining excavations as a means of maintaining a safe and healthful atmosphere, conducive to efficient work output, within an economical framework of mining operations, both present and future.
