The primary purpose of this final report (Contract No. H0230021) is to apply modern human engineering technology to reduce human error and accidents associated with the on-site operation of electric face equipment. The main body of the report, entitled phase i activities, provides an in-depth accounting of the study activities to date. Other major sections of the report are concerned with specific problems of Phase I and plans for Phase II activities. Appendixes to the report contain reference lists and complete data on recommended control requirements and the level of acceptance of these requirements.
