Electrodeposition of platinum metals from molten cyanides. A technique applicable to electroforming.

Platinum, palladium, and iridium have been electrodeposited from molten cyanides on a variety of substrate materials. Using this technique, platinum and iridium crucibles have been electroformed on mandrels of copper and molybdenum.
