The Behavior of Nitric Oxide in Glow Discharges.

The decomposition of nitric oxide in glow discharge plasmas was studied using mass spectrographic analyses. Various gas mixtures and forms of applied power were utilized. No readily dissociated form n2 and o2--or n2 and co2 when CO was present initially.
