Abstract
This Bureau of Mines paper describes a moderate rock burst that occurred at the star mine, burke, Idaho, on September 3, 1975. The dramatic increase of seismic activity that preceded the burst and the distinct decrease that followed are discussed. The results from the data gathered by microseismic monitoring are presented.
