A Computer Program for Generating Finite Element Models of Mine Structures.
Wang-FD; Sun-MC; Wolgamott-J
NTIS: PB 200 709 :56 pages
This report presents a structural-mesh-generating program for the two-dimensional finite-element method of mine structural analysis of single and multiple openings in nonhomogeneous rock mass. This program greatly reduces the amount of input data required and the chances of error which otherwise are large owing to the large amounts of data and the complex mesh involved. The program description, a user's guide, example problems, and program listing are included.
