NTIS: PB 196 614 :15 pages
Surface area measurements were conducted on cadmium sulfide powders following thermal treatments at temperatures up to 500 deg. C and treatment times up to 1 week. Thermal treatments at temperatures up to 300 deg. C produced no significant changes in the surface area of the powders even after 1 week of exposure. At 500 deg. C some decomposition of the cadmium sulfide occurred.
