Abstract
This Bureau of Mines report presents a statistical study of the repeatabilities of coal-plasticity parameters obtained in the tests with the gieseler plastometer and the audibert-arnu and hoffman dilatometers. Repeatability is expressed in terms of one or two standard deviations for the differences between duplicates. The statistical method employed here is summarized. Results are tabulated for the temperature and nontemperature parameters of the three tests.
