Abstract
This handbook is designed for use in first aid training for employees in the mineral and allied industries. It is intended to equip the student with the ability to render prompt, correct emergency care to the injured, especially in mines, as near as possible to the place where the accident occurred. It is written in simple, straightforward language, is fully illustrated, and is thoroughly indexed. An instructor's outline for a standard 10-hour first aid course is presented in an appendix.
