Thermodynamic Properties of (Na2o)4.fe2o3, 6 Deg to 1,200 Deg K.

Calorimetric determinations of the low-temperature heat capacities, standard enthalpy of formation, and high-temperature enthalpies were made of (na2o)4.Fe2o3(c). The resulting values of entropy (s deg), enthalpy of formation (ahf deg), and free energy of formation (agf deg) at 298.15 Deg k are 104.676 Cal/deg mole, -656.2 +/-1 Kcal/mole, and -603.4 +/-1 Kcal/mole, respectively. Tabulations of cp deg, s deg, -(g deg -h deg 298)/t, h deg -h deg 298, ahf deg, agf deg, and log kf are given to 1,200 deg k. Work done under an agreement with the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission.
