The Bureau of Mines made a reconnaissance in 1976-77 of 5.5 million acres of land in the Porcupine River Region. The study region is divided into three generalized areas by rock types and the mineral deposit types probable in each area. This summary report includes maps of rock types, mineral deposits, and energy and mineral potential.
