Abstract
This volume presents the results of studies of Kennecott Copper Corp.'s tailings embankment at Magna, Utah. The stability studies described were performed on only one cross section of the embankment, utilizing data obtained from drilling, sampling, and testing that were limited in nature. The main objective of the data collection was to provide background information to support the overall research effort.
