Biogenic Extraction of Copper and Molybdenum At High Temperatures.
For Reference Only At Bureau Libraries :82 pages
This report describes studies of the leaching, using thermophylic bacteria, of porphyry copper samples containing chalcopyrite as the primary mineral. The experiments show that under the experimental conditions used copper extraction is enhanced by the presence of thermophylic bacteria. Zinc was also extracted chemically from all ores and nickel was chemically extracted at a low rate from one ore.
