NTIS: PB 261 151 Available for Reference At Bureau Labs :31 pages
This report summarizes energy content of 83 metallic and nonmetallic nonfuel commodities derived from mineral deposits subdivided into high-priority (14 commodities), intermediate-priority (27 commodities), and low-priority (42 commodities) reported in detail in reports on phases 4, 5, and 6, respectively. Report 7 includes summary tables on energy content per ton of product and total energy equivalent for U.S. 1973 consumption for each commodity and a total energy required table grouping high-, intermediate-, and low- priority commodities into energy content for each stage from mining to final processing. The last table compares the requirements by source of energy for each priority grouping.
