Research Needs in Flocculation and Dewatering.
Flocculation and Dewatering Proc Eng Found Conf Palm Coast Florida 1/10-15/88 PP 679-682 :679-682
Considerable progress has been made in understanding the fundamentals of polymer adsorption and aggregation of polymer-coated particles. This has been partly due to developments in instrumentation and techniques available for conducting the basic studies in adsorption of polymers and characterization of flocs. However, to develop an understanding of various processes so as to impact industrial practice of flocculation and dewatering, more work is required. Several research needs identified during the conference are discussed below.
