NTIS: PB 81-214843 :97 pages
This report presents the results of continuing innovative technology research to use coupled transport membranes to separate metals in solution, namely vanadium and uranium. The development of new hollow fiber membranes is described. Bench-scale tests demonstrated the clean separation of uranium from vanadium and iron. Future work will involve testing the membranes under actual field conditions.
