Geology and Geochemistry of Carbonate-hosted Lead-zinc Deposits of the Kootenay Arc (82F/east Half).
Paper 1988-1 in Geo Fieldwork British Col Min of Energy Mines & Pet Res 1988 :531-534
Carbonate-hosted, lead-zinc deposits of the kootenay arc have been grouped as either transgressive or concordant types, based on field characteristics. Lead isotope analyses suggest that each ore deposit type contains a unique grouping of lead ratios that do not adequately conform to the bluebell or shale lead growth curves. Detailed ore and gangue mineral petrology, lithogeochemistry, ore geochemistry, lead isotopy, and field evidence will be gathered and then used to qualitatively and quantitatively compare and contrast among these carbonate-hosted deposits.
