Damage-resistant brattice support stoppings in mines with large entries.
Eng Min J 1987 May; 188(5):34-36
This paper describes three damage-resistant brattice (drb) stoppings built and tested in a Colorado oil shale mine. The results proved the ability of drb's to economically reduce air leakage and minimize blast damage to stoppings in mines with cross-sectional openings up to 55 ft wide and 30 ft high.
