ICP analysis of recycled superalloy scrap.
At Spectr 1987 May/Jun; 8(3):81-83
This paper presents research in the chemical analysis of superalloy scrap and the development of an innovative sequential inductively coupled plasma (ICP) technique. This technique utilizes microwave oven dissolution of the samples, Cu internal standard, and a National Bureau of Standards (NBS) certified standard as a control. Several major and minor components of NBS No. 349 Waspaloy, ranging in value from 58% to 0.01%, were determined to have excellent agreement with certified values.
