Abstract
This paper details the design and testing of a nonreactive reusable reaction cell used in in situ leaching. The apparatus developed can be used in constant-pressure or constant-flow experiments and allows for the control of flow rate, pressure, and temperature, thus permitting studies on a wide variety of ore samples. Also included in this paper are the preliminary results from the first series of experiments on an oxide copper ore from the Casa Grande, Arizona, area.
