Development of Recommended Criteria and Test Facilities for Acceptance of High-voltage Permissible Loadcenters and Switchgear Enclosures.
NTIS: PB/87-157434 :45 pages
This report makes refinements to criteria described in OFR 58-86. The criteria addresses the permissibility of high-voltage permissible loadcenters and switchgear enclosures in seven major areas: higher internal pressure design requirements, minimum free volume, minimum free distance, minimum electrical clearances between exposed electrical conductors, electrical creepage distances, use constraints for control transformers, and explosion test requirements. It also contains chapters on criteria selection rationale, a discussion on parts of the OFR 58-86 recommendations, and the design and construction of mobile test facilities.
