Kinetics and equilibria of the Pd-Cl system.
J Less-Common Met 1986 Sep; 123(1-2):175-183
This study is a continuation of an attempt to characterize the interactions of chlorine and pure metals and to provide data that can be used when considering the compatibility of chlorine and other materials. Anomalies in the interactions of gold and of platinum with chlorine in an investigation of metal corrosion by chlorine, and the kinetics and equilibria of the similar Au-Cl and Pt-Cl systems were previously examined in detail in two papers from the Albany Research Center of the Bureau of Mines. This paper presents data and their interpretation demonstrating similarities between these systems and the interactions between palladium and chlorine.
