Using Ada (Accident Data Analysis) in Mine Safety Research.
For Reference Only At Bureau Libraries :111 pages
This report describes the accident data analysis (ada) computer program developed at the Spokane Research Center to provide a rapid broad-based analysis of mining accidents. Because the Bureau of Mines often needs this type of information for the development of viable research programs, the ada program was written to access and analyze accident data available from the Labor Department's Mine Safety and Health Administration. This report describes the ada program, the data it uses, and the potential value it has for planning mining research.
