Spoil Water Quality Variation At Two Regraded Surface Mines in Pennsylvania.

Field studies at two reclaimed surface mines in Pennsylvania were used to describe the hydrology and water quality within acid- producing spoil backfill. The study examined the relationship between recharge source and water quality and empirically described the geochemical evolution of the spoil water.
