Development of Engineering and Cost Data for Foreign Titanium Properties.

The objective of this investigation was to obtain engineering profiles and cost data on foreign titanium mines and potential projects throughout the world. After identification as significant world reserves and resources, international titanium deposits were visited. Estimated quantity and quality determinations of in situ minerals were made as well as technical descriptions of operating and future potential new operations. Capital and operating costs were estimated for all reported currently operating and potential future operations. The impact of associated byproduct production was addressed, downstream raw material processing was reviewed, and appropriate costs were developed.
