Mercury. Oversupply Weakens Price.
Eng and Min J 1984 Mar; 185(3):100-101
World mine production was essentially the same in 1983 as in 1982. U.S. mine production and secondary industrial production satisfied about 78% of total U.S. demand. Spain continued to be the leading supplier of foreign mercury to the United States. Mercury prices declined on a world basis in 1983 in response to an oversupply of material.
