Abstract
This is the second of a series of three articles. The purpose of the series is to describe the results of approximately 3 years of research, sponsored by the Bureau of Mines, to document the application of cabs and canopies in low coal mines. This article examines the problems of operator comfort and vision resulting from the canopies on existing equipment.
