The Bureau of Mines maintains an active program in thermochemistry to provide thermodynamic data for the advancement of mineral science and technology. As part of this effort, the standard enthalpy of formation at 298.15 K, deltaHf degrees, for 2CdO.CdSO4 was determined by HCl acid solution calorimetry to be -345.69 +/- 0.61 kcal/mol.
