Development of a mobile, hi-rise work platform.

This report describes the design, development, and manufacture of a prototype roof bolting machine for high rise applications. The machine is designed to traverse a 32-inch entry and rebolt a roof fall area to a height of 28 feet and 10 inches. A chronology of the project, an explanation of design problems, and a description of the solutions are covered. It is concluded that the equipment as designed is suitable for the purpose intended and further testing is recommended.
