NTIS: PB 207 766 :79 pages
This publication is the official account of the first year's administration of the Federal Coal Mine Health and Safety Act of 1969. Most provisions of the law took effect during 1970. This new annual report summarizes the law itself and gives an account of all major developments that occurred in connection with it last year. A chronological summary of the year's developments is followed by an introduction that explains the unique features of the new law. A timetable for actions required to be taken by the Secretary of the Interior is included. (Out of print.)
