Abstract
The explosive oils, nitroglycerin (ng) and ethylene glycol dinitrate (egdn), were extracted from dynamites by a halocarbon solvent and were then determined by high-pressure liquid chromatography. Separation was achieved by liquid-liquid chromatography on a column packed with durapack-carbowax 400/corasil II and the eluted ng and egdn were detected with a double-beam ultraviolet detector.
