NTIS: PB/247-271 Available for Reference At Bureau Libraries :42 pages
A study was conducted to determine worker acceptance of modified mine equipment at various intervals during a 12-month period. A survey was administered to the workers by two experienced miners in four interviews. All four interviews showed a significant positive response to all modifications, except the small size of the cab of the shuttle car; however, the small size produced significant negative responses with respect to comfort in each of the four interviews.
