This brochure provided a description of the Center to Protect Workers' Rights (CPWR) and its activities. The CPWR was established as the research of the Building and Construction Trades Department of the American Federation of Labor and the Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO). The purpose of the CPWR was to produce and disseminate useful information concerning the construction industry and its labor market, the quality of life for workers and their families, and the construction workplace and it organization. Projects undertaken by the organization in 1995 through 1996 were briefly described.
