Hazardous waste annual refresher.

This one day hazardous waste refresher course was designed for private and public sector engineers, technicians, and other employees who conduct site investigation and feasibility studies and who have previously taken the 40 hour course. The course presented and/or discussed the following material: legislation governing hazardous waste site operations, emergency response regulations, estimates of hazardous waste operations and populations covered by the proposed ruling from OSHA, a hazard recognition exercise, a hazard evaluation exercise, material safety data sheets, levels of protection, levels of protection for unknown substances, an air purifying respirator (APR) decision logic tree, fit testing procedures, fit test records, APR problem solving exercises, forms of heat stress, emergency response exercise, and decontamination procedures.
