NIOSH Testimony on Neurotoxicity/Health Risk Assessment by L. Rosenstock, January 30, 1996.
NIOSH 1996 Jan:2 pages
NIOSH had no major comments on the Environmental Protection Agency proposed guidelines for neurotoxicity risk assessment, supported their publication, and submitted the following specific comments for consideration. It was recommended that use of the term behavioral alterations to describe neurotoxic functional changes measured by neurobehavioral testing should be changed to neurobehavioral changes or effects as it is more commonly used terminology. The inclusion of human laboratory studies as a part of the epidemiological studies was discussed. Lastly, NIOSH suggests changing the term from mixtures of chemicals to mixed exposures.
