A transcript was provided of a meeting in which several persons participated in a discussion of vinylidene-chloride (75354) as it relates to the preparation of a NIOSH Criteria Document on this topic. Those in attendance at the seminar presented works dealing with the following research: a report on the investigation of workers exposed to vinylidene-chloride at the BASF Wyandotte South Kearny Facility, a representation of the preliminary results of Dr. Maltoni's evaluation of vinylidene-chloride, interim results of chronic toxicity studies of vinylidene-chloride in rats, a health survey of workers exposed to vinylidene-chloride, the status of the NIOSH retrospective mortality evaluation on vinylidene-chloride workers, the teratogenicity of vinylidene-chloride, and the status of the NIOSH vinyl compounds criteria document.
