Abstract
A program to increase the laboratory experience of students in the industrial hygiene branch of the Environmental and Occupational Health Program was described. New equipment, purchased through grant funds, allowed the laboratory experience to expand to a full 3 hours each week and to accommodate 18 students in each lab facility. Altogether, 12 new laboratory exercises were added to the curriculum. A listing of 25 theses prepared by students in this program was included in this report. A list of specific items purchased with funds from the grant was included. During the program period, 75 students graduated with Master of Science degrees and 220 graduated with Bachelor of Science degrees.
