The contracts which NIOSH had let were discussed in this booklet along with interagency agreements and foreign currency arrangements. The contracts covered research in the following fields: agriculture, industrywide studies, laboratory studies (behavioral and motivational factors, engineering, physical agents, physical and chemical analysis, physiology and ergonomics, and toxicology), laboratory services, manpower development, mining, occupational carcinogenesis, occupational health programs, policy direction and administrative support, safety, standards development, surveillance, and technical services. Types of work being carried out under interagency agreements were described. Research projects being conducted with foreign countries were listed for India, Egypt, Poland, and Yugoslavia.
