A listing and description of 44 videotapes available from NIOSH was presented. Tapes were available on the following subjects: ethylene-oxide, the prevention of occupational diseases and injuries, filter mounting procedures, spray painting operations, behavior based safety management, philosophy of occupational health and safety management, belt sander ventilation, radiofrequency heater/sealers, cumulative trauma disorders, assembly line case studies, effective testing, industrial loss control, asbestos screening process, control technology, gas welding, vibration syndrome, lifting and analysis, confined space entry, personal sampler calibration, and pitot transverse. In the Industrial Hygiene Procedures Series, tapes were available on personal sampler calibration, personal sampler pumps, rotameter calibration, sound level meter calibration, comfort ventilation systems, evaluation of industrial hoods, and combustible gas detector calibration. In the Safety in the School Science Laboratory Series, tapes were available on personal protective equipment, student involvement, fire prevention, chemical procurement and inventory, storage and disposal of chemical reagents, safety programs, labeling, legal aspects of laboratory safety, laboratory ventilation, record keeping, biological and animal hazards, handling glassware, and laboratory hardware and surveys.
