Anthropological research related to the sizing and fit of respirators.

Part three of an anthropological research report written under contract for NIOSH pertaining to the sizing and fit of respirators is presented. The previous two reports were entitled; Human Variability and Respirator Sizing, and Proposed Subject Selection and Test Procedure for Quantitative Respirator Testing at the NIOSH Testing and Certification Laboratory. Part three of the report outlines ways to provide the most comprehensive data possible for respirator design. The authors conclude future studies will be computerized, and recommends a facial anthropometric survey of Americans of oriental descent.
