Evaluation of occupational hazards. Instructor's manual.
NIOSH 1972 Aug; :1-230
An effort to present a basic understanding of the toxicologic aspects of occupational exposures as a prelude to evaluating these exposures is presented in an instructor's manual. The material is divided into ten lessons covering modes of entry, biologic effects, toxicity, skin diseases, prevention, surveys, instrumentation, monitoring, and physical hazards. Exercises are included to aid the student in integrating information contained in the lesson and to demonstrate his competency in dealing with it. A self-review questionnaire is included.
