Abstract
Employee exposures to the foaming agent, Lucel-7, were assessed at Skeeter Boats (SIC-3732) in Kilgore, Texas on March 13, 1981. An unidentified individual requested the evaluation on behalf of an unspecified number of workers. Production processes at this facility required only small quantities of Lucel-7 for a relatively short time during boat construction. Exposed employees were equipped with organic vapor respirators and rubber gloves. except for one worker who reported a transient episode of light headedness, no other symptoms were reported. No severe neurologic diseases were reported. The author recommends that workers using Lucel-7 comply with the manufacturer's safety instructions.
