An associate level program for occupational safety and health technicians, certificate programs for occupational health and occupational safety, and a baccalaureate program for industrial hygienists and safety personnel are outlined. Recommended guidelines for a baccalaureate program for industrial hygienist and safety personnel are described along with recommended guidelines for a baccalaureate curriculum for occupational health and safety generalists and for graduate level training.
