Ronnel Analytical Method.

The NIOSH analytical method S299 for determining ronnel (299843) in air is described. Samples are collected on a mixed cellulose ester membrane filter and Chromosorb-102 (9003707), extracted with toluene (108883), and analyzed by gas chromatography with a flame photometric detector. The working range of the method is 2.82 to 17.1 milligrams per cubic meter, the coefficient of variance is sample. Analytical apparatus, reagents and procedures are described, and calculations are provided for determining sample concentrations. Data on test atmosphere generation, particle size distribution, and recovery, stability and breakthrough rates is included.
