Abstract
Worker exposures to silicon-dioxide (60676860) were surveyed at the pipeline facility of Brown and Root in New Orleans, Louisiana, on March 6 and 7, 1972. Personal and area air samples from the pipeline production area were analyzed. The amount of silicon- dioxide in the samples ranged from 0.05 to 75.1 percent, and the concentrations ranged from 0.01 to 1.7 milligrams per cubic meter.
