Abstract
The NIOSH analytical method S11 for determining chloroacetaldehyde (107200) in air is described. Sample are collected on silica-gel, desorbed with methanol and analyzed by gas chromatography with electron capture detectors. The working range on the method is 1.8 to 6.4 milligrams per cubic meter, the coefficient of variance is equipment, reagents and procedures are described, and mathematical formulas for calibration and standardization are included.
